Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Health, Safety & Environmental experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
• Experience managing safety compliance programs, audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, inspections, audits, and compliance-related activities
• Partner with plant leadership to foster a proactive safety culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Develop and facilitate safety training programs, onboarding initiatives, and ongoing employee education
• Conduct incident, injury, near-miss, and environmental event investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Monitor safety and environmental performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvement opportunities
• Maintain compliance documentation, regulatory reports, permits, policies, procedures, and recordkeeping requirements
• Oversee waste management, environmental programs, and operational compliance activities
• Perform routine audits and inspections to assess risk and ensure adherence to safety standards
• Coordinate emergency preparedness efforts, including response planning, drills, training, and equipment readiness
