Job summary

Sunlight Batteries USA is seeking an experienced Senior EHS Specialist to lead environmental, health, and safety programs at our lead‑acid battery manufacturing facility. You will serve as a trusted partner to operations, driving risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture.

You will conduct audits, lead investigations, and develop training covering hazard communication, PPE, and emergency response. Strong coaching skills and data‑driven insight are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, health, and safety programs across the facility.
• Serve as subject matter expert on OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct safety audits, JHAs, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action programs.
• Develop and deliver technical safety training programs.
• Coach supervisors on safe work practices and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor compliance records, permits, and audit documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.
