Bally Design in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to serve as the site’s primary EHS resource and partner with leadership on regulatory compliance and safety initiatives.

The role involves managing audits, investigations, training programs, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations to strengthen safety culture and compliance with environmental and occupational safety regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience within heavy manufacturing, industrial, chemical, or process environments.
• Strong understanding of environmental and occupational safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining EHS management systems.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to influence and build credibility with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive engagement across diverse teams.
• Experience utilizing technology, analytics, or AI-enabled tools to support EHS programs.
• Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent preferred.

Aufgaben

• Partner with leaders to promote a strong safety culture.
• Coach and mentor operations leadership on EHS requirements and best practices.
• Develop, implement, and maintain programs to reduce risks and environmental impacts.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate EHS teams to share best practices.
• Lead site EHS audits, assessments, and compliance activities.
• Serve as primary contact for regulatory inspections.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure hazard identification and risk assessment processes are effective.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs.
• Track and report key EHS metrics and performance indicators.
• Maintain knowledge of current regulations and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety performance.
