Job summary

Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Inc. in Oxnard, California is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support our operations. The role reports directly to the Safety Manager and focuses on safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship across our plants.

You will partner with leaders to drive continuous improvement, deliver training, and maintain compliance programs that protect employees and the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food production, or a related environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, environmental regulations, and safety best practices.
• Strong investigation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Professional certifications (ASP, CSP, CHMM, or similar) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of EHS policies, programs, and procedures.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and recordkeeping requirements.
• Deliver safety training and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Monitor safety metrics and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to promote a culture of safety and accountability.
• Support workers' compensation and return-to-work processes as needed.
• Assist with environmental compliance programs and reporting activities.
