Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to support Richmond, VA operations. You will assist the Safety Manager, promote a safety culture, ensure compliance with federal/state laws, and coordinate health and safety programs across sites.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in EHS or equivalent, 3+ years’ experience, and proficiency with OSHA/EPA regulations. Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or equivalent level of experience.
• 3+ years of experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety role.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Proficient in OSHA and EPA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Promote safety culture and policies.
• Coordinate and monitor health and safety programs.
• Audit sites for compliance with safety programs.
• Lead safety inspections and correct unsafe conditions.
• Deliver annual safety training.
