Job summary

The Chemours Company in Delisle, MS, seeks an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant to lead safety initiatives across high hazard chemical operations and partner with site teams and regulators. This role drives safety culture, PSM, and continuous improvement at the Titanium Technologies site in Pass Christian, MS.

You will develop safety systems, support audits, participate in incident investigations, and act as a subject matter expert for Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Fall

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS (i.e. Safety Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering) or engineering discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA General Industry, Recordkeeping, and PSM requirements and ability to interpret regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical support for safety at high hazard chemical operations.
• Interface with site employees, leadership, and regulators to drive safety performance.
• Develop and manage safety programs and systems across the site.
• Conduct and support workplace safety and PSM audits and incident investigations.
• Serve as SME and site standard owner for key safety elements.
