Chemours is seeking a Senior EHS Consultant (Safety) to join the New Johnsonville, TN area. Lead safety programs for high hazard chemical operations, mentor site teams, and drive regulatory compliance.

You will participate in audits, investigations, and cross‑functional safety initiatives to strengthen the site’s safety culture and performance. The role requires a Bachelor's in EHS or a related engineering field with about 10 years of manufacturing/chemicals experience, strong regulatory

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in an EHS or engineering oriented discipline and 10 years experience as a safety professional at a manufacturing or chemical facility
• Knowledge of high hazard chemical or process safety management regulated facilities
• Industrial manufacturing knowledge/experience
• Sound technical and regulatory based safety and process safety management knowledge, including knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Ability to anticipate, plan, develop, implement, audit, and improve sustainable systems in EHS
• Strong problem solving and technical skills with emphasis on safety
• Ability to work independently or in a team and coach all levels

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership, guidance, technical problem solving, training, improvement, and implementation support for safety of high hazard chemical operations.
• Interface with site employees, contractors, regulatory agencies, and be a member of the site leadership team.
• Work to improve systems, procedures, processes, and ownership around safety.
• Participate in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party safety audit programs.
• Participate in/facilitate incident investigations as required.
• Serve as the site subject matter expert for Safety How procedures.
• Review regulatory briefs related to EHS and anticipate impact.
• Lead for Process Safety Management, Risk Management Plan, RCMS, Occupational Health, Distribution, Emergency Response, OSHA's VPP.
• Develop/lead systems to manage special safety programs across the site.
• Participate in site reward and recognition programs.
• Maintain Metrics (leading/lagging).
