Job summary

WM is seeking an experienced EHS Program Manager to oversee environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance across operations projects. The role includes implementing EHS programs, leading audits (ISO 14001/9001), and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements; interaction with WM staff, customer sites, and regulatory bodies may occur.

Travel to customer sites is expected at about 50%, supporting the deployment of best practices and program improvements company-wide.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in science, engineering, safety, environmental or similar field.
• 10+ years hands-on and programmatic Health & Safety/compliance experience.
• 5 years experience working within manufacturing and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site or off-site WMSS project staff guidance and support to implement or maintain EHS programs and procedures.
• Conducts safety and environmental assessments and ISO audits for conformance and compliance, developing corrective actions.
• Travels to customer sites to observe and assist in EHS program implementation and safety practices.

Education

B.S. of Science, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or similar degree.
