Job summary

WM is seeking a seasoned EHS Program Manager to oversee environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance across operations and projects in the U.S. The role will involve developing new programs, managing EHS information systems, and interfacing with WM staff, customer sites, and regulatory agencies as needed.

Expect up to 50% travel to customer sites and ongoing ISO 14001/9001 conformance support, audits, and data analysis to drive safety improvements and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or similar field.
• 10+ years hands-on and programmatic H&S/compliance experience, including training.
• 5 years experience in manufacturing and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site or remote guidance to implement EHS programs and procedures.
• Conduct start-up, safety, and ISO audits for compliance and track corrective actions.
• Travel to customer sites to assist with EHS program implementation.
• Manage EHS projects and develop new programs for regulatory and customer requirements.
