Job summary

WM is seeking a senior EHS professional to manage and support environmental and safety programs across projects, ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance. The role involves coordinating with WM staff, customer sites, and regulatory bodies, with travel up to 50%.

You will lead multiple EHS projects, develop new procedures, review audits, and analyze data to drive safety and environmental performance for WM operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years Health & Safety/compliance experience.
• Experience in training and implementing safety programs.
• Experience within manufacturing and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site or remote guidance to implement EHS programs and procedures.
• Conduct safety and environmental assessments and ISO audits for conformance.
• Travel to customer sites to support EHS program implementation.
• Develop and manage EHS projects and new written programs for compliance.
• Track corrective and preventive actions to completion.
