Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced Senior EHS Manager to lead our environmental, health, and safety (EHS) program across the Florida Division. You will mentor staff, manage projects, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, while supporting national projects.

You will develop growth plans with operational leadership, build client relationships, and contribute to proposals and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• PE license preferred.
• 12+ years of consulting experience.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license; HAZWOPER training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess EHS staff capabilities across the Division
• Develop EHS Growth Plans with Operational Leadership
• Work with Client Development and technical staff on Growth Plans
• Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables
• Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness
• Develop strong working relationships with clients
• Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests
• Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies
• Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines
• Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
