Job summary

Amperesand is seeking a hands-on Senior EHS Program Manager to develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs across the organization. The role requires strong electrical safety expertise and a willingness to work directly with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to solve safety problems.

The position is based on-site at the Reno, NV facility with regular manufacturing and test-area exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in technical/manufacturing environments.
• Experience developing and implementing EHS policies and safe work practices.
• Working knowledge of electrical safety requirements, including OSHA and NFPA 70E.
• Experience leading risk assessments and partnering with frontline teams.
• Ability to travel periodically (California - Bay Area)

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, standards, programs, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical company requirements and training.
• Own programs from development through implementation, field validation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead risk assessments and observe work in operational areas to verify effectiveness.
• Partner with experts to develop practical, competency-based training reflecting actual hazards.
