Job summary

Amperesand in Reno is searching for a skilled professional to support the build and modification of advanced power infrastructure testing sets. This role involves hands-on electrical testing and collaboration with design engineers, emphasizing safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology and at least 3 years of experience in a lab or R&D setting. Strong soldering and organizational skills are essential, along with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

This position requires on-site work 5 days a week and provides comprehensive benefits, including competitive salary and stock options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a lab or R&D environment, preferably with high-voltage systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of lab safety standards and electrical safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support building and modifying testing sets including electrical harnessing.
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing on high-voltage power converters.
• Coordinate ordering and maintain inventory of critical lab supplies.
