Job summary

Pilot Company in the United States seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead the safety management system and strengthen process safety across midstream operations. You will champion safety culture, mentor teams, and work with contractors to prevent incidents and improve SMS compliance.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, SMS improvements, and delivering EHS presentations locally and enterprise-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in occupational safety or equivalent degree with safety certification.
• Preferred: CSP, CRSP, NEBOSH, or CMIOSH.
• 10+ years in downstream/petrochemical or fuel terminals with Process Safety experience.
• Experience with Regulatory Compliance.
• Process Safety Management and Human Organizational Performance.
• ISO 45001 and ANSI Z10 knowledge.
• SiF and HECA familiarity.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Ability to innovate, lead change, negotiate, and deliver results.
• Up to 50% travel; office and field work; able to pass fitness tests.

Responsibilities

• Champions safety stand, vision, values, and Zero Starts with Me with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Assesses and develops solutions to safety culture, SMS, and PSM challenges.
• Provides leadership through coaching and training in EHS programs and systems.
• Delivers solutions to complex EHS problems using experience and analytics.
• Develops and executes EHS goals to reduce SIF/PSM events and improve SMS adoption.
• Influences stakeholders to adopt best EHS practices in operations.
• Sets function-based strategic EHS goals for stakeholders.
• Incident investigation leader using Why Tree, Ishikawa, DNV or Tap Root methods.
• Develop, monitor, and implement Occupational Hygiene plans.
• Implement governance for SMS, PSM, and regulatory compliance in Midstream ops.
• Classify incidents per HECA and OSHA 300; create presentations on EHS topics.
