Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, Lab Sciences, or related field.
• 7+ years of EHS work experience with program development, auditing, regulatory compliance, and cross-directional communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and continual improvement of EHS programs, policies, and initiatives across sites to strengthen safety, environment, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as SME for environmental, health, and safety matters, advising on hazards, new equipment, and process changes for EHS compliance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, WDNR, MMSD, State Fire Marshal, permits, and company EHS standards.
• Lead investigations of workplace accidents and environmental incidents; analyze trends and root causes; drive corrective actions.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, Job Hazard Analyses, and risk assessments; maintain risk registers and corrective actions.
• Establish and monitor EHS KPIs; maintain regulatory records and report to site leadership.
• Partner with HR, Legal, managers, and employees to manage workers’ compensation, injury care, and return-to-work.
• Lead environmental sustainability efforts on waste, water, energy, and emissions; identify reduction opportunities.
• Build relationships with regulators and auditors; develop EHS training and communications.
• Stay current on regulations and best practices; ensure EHS documentation is accessible locally.
