Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an EHS Leader to oversee professionals, trade partners, and project teams to deliver high-quality safety results. The role guides risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, and leads advanced EHS training and communication strategies to promote compliance.

The position requires 7 years in EHS, 1–2 years managing teams, and multiple certifications. DPR offers comprehensive health benefits and a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or associate in environmental science, occupational health, safety management, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in EHS roles within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or related field.
• 1–2 years of managerial experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction training required; First Aid/CPR/AED/Naloxone preferred; CHST preferred; OSHA Course 500 training required; CSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a team handling EHS projects and training.
• Oversees EHS policies, procedures, and programs in line with regulations.
• Conducts site inspections, audits, and risk assessments with the team.
• Leads EHS training programs for employees and contractors on safety protocols.
• Develops emergency response plans including evacuation and first aid.
• Communicates regulatory and procedural EHS requirements to diverse audiences.
• Engages project teams to educate and promote safe working practices.
