Job summary

KYOCERA AVX Greenville LLC is seeking a seasoned EHS Manager to oversee environmental, safety and occupational health programs at our Fountain Inn, SC facility. You will develop and monitor compliance with federal, state and local regs, ISO standards, and coordinate audits and ERT training.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing EHS, supervisory experience, and excellent communication across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Studies/Science, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Risk Management, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years related experience in manufacturing environmental programs, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Supervisory experience for managing EHS staff desired.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and plant management in writing and in person.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with management levels and hourly employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• US Person export control compliance or ability to obtain export license.

Responsibilities

• Administers Plant Safety Program and conducts safety training as required.
• Investigates accidents and follows up with corrective and preventative action.
• Coordinate EHS audits and Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities.
• Manage environmental activity to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ISO standards.
• Coordinate on-site Corporate EHS audits and follow-up on findings.
