Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead the safety management system and process safety initiatives across Midstream operations. You will champion safety culture, guide internal and external stakeholders, and drive incident investigations to improve SMS compliance.

The role requires extensive experience in downstream/fuel terminals, regulatory compliance, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 50% and field/office engagement are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in downstream/petrochemical or fuel terminals with process safety experience.
• Experience with Regulatory Compliance and Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ANSI Z10.
• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Ability to lead, influence, negotiate, and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Champions Pilot safety stand, vision, values and Zero Starts with Me principles with stakeholders and contractors.
• Leads incident investigations using Why Tree, Ishikawa, or similar methodologies.
• Develops SMS improvements, safety governance, and contractor safety engagement.
• Drives EHS goals to reduce SIF-type events and strengthen SMS deployment.
• Provides training and coaching to operations teams on EHS programs and systems.
• Creates and delivers EHS presentations at local, regional, and enterprise levels.
