Job summary

Pilot Company seeks an EHS Advanced Specialist to reinforce the safety management system, drive process safety compliance, and lead a range of incident analysis and governance tasks across Midstream operations.

You will coach operations teams, develop SMS improvements, and deliver EHS goals with measurable reductions in incidents while collaborating with contractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in occupational safety or equivalent with safety certification.
• CSP, CRSP, NEBOSH, or CMIOSH preferred.
• 10+ years in downstream/petrochemical or fuel terminals with process safety experience.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting.
• Process Safety Management expertise.
• Human Organizational Performance knowledge.
• ISO 45001 and ANSI Z10 familiarity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Champions Pilot safety stand, vision, and Zero Starts with Me principles with stakeholders.
• Identifies safety culture, SMS, and PSM challenges and suggests improvements.
• Leads training and coaching on EHS programs and system elements.
• Delivers solutions to complex EHS problems using experience and analysis.
• Develops and tracks EHS goals to reduce incidents and improve SMS usage.
• Influences operations, contractors, and subcontractors to adopt best EHS practices.
• Plans function-based strategic EHS goals for stakeholders.
• Lead incident investigations using Why Tree, Ishikawa, or similar methods.
