Job summary

Pratt & Whitney's Asheville site seeks an experienced EH&S professional to lead regulatory compliance and health & safety programs. You will partner with line supervision, manage EH&S councils, and drive cross-functional improvements on the manufacturing floor.

Strong emphasis on regulatory knowledge, audits, and incident response is required. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in EH&S, with a Bachelor’s degree (or 5+ in advanced degree) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years EH&S regulatory compliance, or an advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• EH&S regulatory and management systems knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with line supervision to ensure EH&S regulatory compliance across Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Administer EH&S Council, track performance trends, and drive project completion.
• Provide technical direction to line management to execute goals and objectives.
• Program manager for Health and Safety programs (Contractor Safety, Elevated Work, Emergency Response).
• Lead cross-functional projects and act as spill response on rotation.
• Conduct audits/inspections, develop corrective actions, and drive improvement.
