Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a senior professional to lead Environmental and Safety Programs across multiple facilities. The role emphasizes coordinating training, maintaining compliance with environmental regulations, and managing programs for wastewater, stormwater, and waste handling.

You will ensure site readiness for regulatory inspections, develop training materials, and drive incident investigations while interacting with facility personnel and regulators. Extensive travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety and Health, or a science-related field preferred or 5 years of equivalent work experience in the applicable fields.
• Wastewater license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Environmental and Safety Programs across multiple facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Coordinate and maintain records of training on environmental and safety topics.
• Oversee NPDES-permitted wastewater and stormwater programs, spill and waste management, and safety training initiatives.
