Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a senior-level professional to manage Environmental and Safety Programs across multiple facilities in the United States. The role includes ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety laws, coordinating training, and maintaining program documentation.

Responsibilities cover Clean Water Act issues, permits, compliance, safety training, incident investigations, OSHA responses, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety and Health, or a science-related field preferred or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
• Wastewater license preferred.
• Four or more years of environmental and/or safety management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Environmental and Safety Programs at multiple Tyson facilities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and deliver training on environmental and safety topics; maintain records.
• Oversee wastewater, stormwater, and other environmental permits and compliance issues.
• Coordinate incident investigations, OSHA responses, and safety training programs.
• Travel extensively within the assigned area to facilities.
