Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials is seeking an experienced EHS leader to coordinate and manage environmental, health, and safety programs at a manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with site leadership and business-unit managers to prevent injuries, perform root-cause analyses, and resolve safety issues, with a dotted line to the EHS Divisional Manager.

Expect 8:00 am–5:00 pm hours, at times extended or weekend work, and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety-related field with professional EHS certification preferred.
• Ten years of experience in health and safety in manufacturing or processing environments.
• Minimum of five years managing a safety program at a manufacturing site.
• Prior experience coordinating with site leadership and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and manage EHS programs across a Carlisle manufacturing facility.
• Lead safety initiatives, analyze root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Coach site leadership on safety tools, mindset, and behavioral safety.
• Maintain OSHA compliance, recordkeeping, and ISO 14001 programs.
• Oversee safety trainings, onboarding, and BBS observations.
• Lead a team of 2-3 safety professionals and coordinate with EHS leadership.
• Prepare for management reviews, safety calls, and cross-site read-across.
• Travel as needed and participate in safety committees and government liaison.
