Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a global manufacturing company to recruit an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for their Wenatchee-area operation. This hands-on role collaborates with plant leadership to strengthen safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong OSHA regulations knowledge and environmental compliance experience.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Experience performing risk assessments and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training.
• Experience conducting EHS audits and compliance assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs compliant with regulations.
• Partner with plant leadership to execute safety strategies and continuous improvement.
• Promote a safety culture through engagement, accountability, and ownership.
• Conduct workplace risk assessments and implement hazard controls.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Monitor safety metrics and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure OSHA/environmental regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Deliver safety training for employees, supervisors, and managers.
• Perform routine safety audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Lead emergency preparedness and response programs, including drills.
• Coach leaders on safety leadership and accountability.
• Coordinate workers' compensation claims management and return-to-work programs.
• Serve as primary EHS contact during regulatory inspections and audits.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk and improve performance.
