Job summary

Vitro Automotive seeks a Manager EHS for the Elkin, NC site to be the technical expert for environmental, safety, and health programs. You will lead and coach personnel, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive positive EHS culture and performance across the site.

The role focuses on reviewing procedures, conducting audits and investigations, and managing key metrics while aligning with global EHS leadership.

Qualifications

Facilitate EHS programs in a manufacturing setting and drive cultural improvements.
Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 EMS and applicable laws and standards.
Lead investigations, prepare reports, and communicate findings to leadership.

Responsibilities

Support or lead meetings to set tasks, targets, and actions as part of standard work.
Support or lead assessments, investigations, audits, data gathering, and reporting.
Review, update, and create procedures, programs, and work documents.
Ensure compliance with Vitro standards, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Engage, train, coach, and support personnel to improve EHS behaviors and results.
Manage tasks and projects assigned to the role.
Monitor, report, and communicate key indicators and metrics.
Maintain sustained compliance with standards, requirements, and regulations.
Collaborate with Director EHS US+EUR and Plant Manager Elkin NC on critical matters.
