Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Sr. Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to provide health and safety guidance across active Savannah River projects.

You will audit EHS programs, develop corrective actions, and work with leadership to improve workplace safety and industrial hygiene. The role requires coordinating safety training, risk reviews, and liaison with regulators, with a focus on continuous improvement and safe operation of facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience coordinating and managing health and safety for construction projects.
• Preferred EHS certification such as CSP, ASP, SMS, CHST, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop site-specific safety training and orientation for workers, supervisors, staff, and subcontractors.
• Audit project EHS programs and collaborate with line management to drive continuous improvement.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and external parties as required.
• Mentor project staff in conventional safety procedures and maintain safety KPIs.
