Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Manager, EHS to provide strategic leadership for environmental, health, and safety programs across utility construction operations in North America.

You will drive a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to minimize risk and improve safety performance. The role requires directing safety professionals, leading emergency preparedness, investigations, and training initiatives while advancing

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience coordinating and managing health and safety for heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of OHSA and construction safety requirements.
• Strong leadership and training capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership and risk management across projects.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for workers, owners, and clients.
• Oversee OSHA, EPA, DOT compliance, audits, and incident investigations.
• Lead investigations of workplace injuries and loss events to determine root causes.
