Job summary

A.W. Chesterton Company is seeking a Manager of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to oversee and advance EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites and offices, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will lead EMS efforts in alignment with ISO 14001 and drive risk reduction, incident prevention, and safety culture improvements. The role requires 6–8 years of EHS leadership experience in manufacturing, an advanced degree, and professional certifications;

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience managing EHS for multiple operations.
• Advanced degree and professional certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM, CPP, PSP) preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and execute EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property & community.
• Lead a team of EHS professionals and collaborate with operations.
• Maintain an Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001.
• Conduct incident investigations, regulatory reporting and training as needed.
