Job summary

Constellation Brands in Soledad, California, is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Leader to develop and implement all EHS procedures, programs and training to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and company standards.

You will guide site management and hourly staff, lead risk assessments, coach on incident prevention, and partner with engineering and risk teams to integrate safety into operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in EHS Management Systems.
• Working knowledge of state and federal safety codes, environmental regulations.
• Experience with permitting and reporting to regulatory agencies (e.g., Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, CERCLA, RCRA).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and align with company values.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement EHS policies, procedures, programs and training to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee site safety and environmental initiatives across multiple locations.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for incidents.
• Ensure EHS records and regulatory submittals are prepared and maintained.
• Coordinate with Engineering on projects affecting safety and environmental compliance.
• Develop and train an effective Emergency Response Team.
