Job summary

Constellation Brands is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) leader to oversee multi-site programs at facilities including the Stonewall Canyon Winery in Soledad, CA. You will develop and implement EHS policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide the site management team and hourly staff on safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in EHS management systems.
• Working knowledge of state and federal safety codes, environmental rules and regulations.
• Experience with permitting and providing reports to regulatory agencies (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, CERCLA, and RCRA).
• Ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability get things done in a fast-paced environment.
• Robust oral and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office experience, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement all EHS policies, procedures, programs and activities ensuring compliance with regulations and CBI standards.
• Assist supervisory and management personnel by facilitating root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Review workplace practices to ensure EHS policies are followed and enforced.
• Develop and update safety guidelines, SOPs and best practice standards for employee safety and operations.
• Communicate EHS issues via bulletins, newsletters, memos and meetings.
• Assist EHS Leadership and Risk Management with follow-up on workers' compensation matters.
• Organize required training to increase awareness and adherence across departments.
• Maintain all EHS records, reports and regulatory submittals.
• Provide input during engineering projects and planning for safety considerations.
• Develop Emergency Response Team and budget planning for EHS.
