Job summary

Agropur Cooperative seeks a Senior Manager – Environmental Health and Safety to lead U.S. environmental compliance programs across Appleton, WI or Eden Prairie, MN sites. The role supervises EHS auditing, PSM, ammonia refrigeration oversight, and supports safety initiatives across manufacturing operations.

You will develop and maintain the U.S. environmental management system, drive regulatory reporting, coordinate with site leaders, and mentor teams while engaging regulatory agencies to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
• Minimum seven years of experience in environmental compliance or EHS roles in U.S. manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Master’s Degree or certifications preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. environmental compliance programs and support EHS auditing and PSM requirements.
• Act as environmental subject-matter expert for U.S. operations and interface with regulatory bodies.
• Develop and maintain the U.S. environmental management system, including permits, records, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with site Safety Managers and other resources to implement projects and corrective actions.
• Lead environmental projects such as emissions reduction and waste minimization, aligned with corporate objectives.
• Prepare environmental communications to regulators and internal stakeholders.
