Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (Wyman Gordon division) seeks a Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to drive EHS excellence on a fast-paced aerospace forging floor.

This hands-on leader will work with employees, supervisors, and leadership to identify hazards, mitigate risk, and advance a culture of accountability. The role requires strong regulatory knowledge (OSHA/EPA/DOT), 7+ years of EHS leadership in heavy manufacturing, and a proven track record in incident investigations and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive EHS leadership in heavy manufacturing, aerospace, or similar environments.
• Experience with OSHA, EPA, DOT and state regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading incident investigations using formal root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Owns and supports the PCC/Wyman Gordon EHS program and serves as the site leader.
• Maintains daily presence in production to identify hazards and improve EHS performance.
• Leads risk assessments, inspections, and corrective actions on the manufacturing floor.
• Manages incident response, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Drives EHS culture transformation through engagement and accountability.
• Partners with leadership to strengthen ownership for EHS performance.
• Develops and communicates EHS metrics and compliance programs.
• Oversees environmental permitting, reporting, and regulatory communications.
• Coordinates emergency response and on-call support for emergencies.
• Leads lean and Kaizen initiatives to embed EHS in operations.
