Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Director of Environmental Health and Safety to lead EHS for a new aerospace fastener manufacturing Greenfield site in the United States.

You will drive regulatory compliance, sustainability, and safety programs from design through ramp-up, in collaboration with engineering, operations, HR, and supply chain. You will lead a small EHS team and partner with corporate to embed EHS into every phase of construction and startup, with a focus on ISO 14001, OSHA

Qualifications

• Expertise in environmental compliance, hazardous materials handling, and industrial hygiene.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing regulations and best practices.
• Proven ability to lead EHS programs in Greenfield or high-growth environments.
• Demonstrated project management skills including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience developing and mentoring EHS professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive EHS strategy aligned with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead environmental planning initiatives including air emissions control, water conservation, hazardous waste management, and energy efficiency.
• Oversee permitting processes and ensure timely environmental reporting.
• Integrate sustainability goals into facility design and operations.
• Direct and mentor EHS staff, including performance management and development.
