Job summary

Abbott Laboratories seeks a Senior Manager, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to lead and continuously improve EHS programs across Toxicology locations. You will drive safety culture, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction while partnering with operations, engineering, quality, HR and regulatory agencies.

The role demands a strategic leader with a record of improving safety performance in complex manufacturing environments, and the ability to influence across functions while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• At least 10 years of progressive EHS experience with multi-site leadership.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve EHS programs across Toxicology locations.
• Develop and execute the division's EHS strategy.
• Provide leadership to site EHS teams and drive capability development.
• Integrate EHS into daily operations and strategic initiatives with cross-functional partners.
• Drive performance through audits, investigations, data analysis and continuous improvement.
• Oversee Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics and regulatory readiness.
• Manage EHS budgets, capital projects and investments to reduce risk.
• Serve as primary contact for Corporate EHS, regulators, and insurers.
• Champion a culture of safety and sustainability.
