Job summary

TLD Logistics Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to lead the facility's safety and environmental management system, influence strategic safety decisions, and mentor leaders across the site.

You will champion Cal/OSHA and Federal OSHA compliance, conduct complex root-cause investigations, design advanced training, and drive Kaizen and 5S in partnership with Operations. The role demands strong communication with executive leadership, bilingual English/Spanish, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree strongly preferred (Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline).
• CSP (Certified Safety Professional) required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification required; OSHA 500 (Trainer Certification) required.
• Hazmat Certification required.
• Demonstrated experience with Cal/OSHA/Cal/EPA and other regulatory agencies.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Experience mentoring safety teams and leading at senior levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with senior leadership.
• Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the EHS management system.
• Prepare for internal, customer, and regulatory audits with proactive compliance.
• Shape the EHS strategic plan aligned to goals.
• Be the primary contact for OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and regulators.
