Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. is seeking an EHS Manager in Richland Center, WI to lead safety and environmental programs and ensure compliance with regulations. You will coordinate with plant leadership and hourly staff to develop training, track program deadlines, and improve safety culture.

The role includes leading audits, conducting incident investigations, and managing the plant safety budget. Travel up to 15% is required and the company offers substantial relocation and retirement benefits for

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus relevant safety certification; 5 years’ experience creating and implementing safety programs.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of safety program experience.
• Experience creating training programs, conducting audits, and reporting audit findings to plant leadership.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to improve safety and environmental compliance with programs and stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain and improve environmental, health and safety written programs; track deadlines.
• Oversee Safety and Environmental training for hourly and salary staff; document training.
• Lead safety inspections per SOPs during regulatory inspections by external agencies or customers.
• Identify root causes of incidents and address corrective actions; stay current on required trainings.
• Manage plant safety budget and coordinate workers' compensation processes with HR.
