Job summary

Aztalan Bio LLC is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our Johnson Creek, WI facility’s EHS programs. You will ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the site.

You will oversee EHS policies, training, audits, incident investigations, permitting, and reporting, collaborating with leadership to create a safe, productive workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Safety, Environment or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 40 hours/year EHS training.
• 5+ years EHS experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and train others.
• Ability to investigate and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs and regulatory compliance for the site.
• Develop and maintain safety standards and procedures.
• Monitor changing EHS requirements and update practices.
• Design and implement employee safety training.
• Ensure compliance with air, wastewater, groundwater, and storm water permits.
• Manage safety programs and incident reporting and workers’ comp support.
• Conduct EHS inspections and audits; lead investigations.
