Job summary

Otsuka ICU Medical LLC is seeking a seasoned EHS leader to oversee Safety, Health and Environmental Control functions for a manufacturing facility. You will ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, maintain cgMP-aligned safety programs, and safeguard sterile environments and validated systems.

The role requires directing an EHS team, managing budgets, and providing expert guidance on regulatory matters, risk reduction, and emergency response planning.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Certifications CSP, CHMM or CIH preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience required.
• Experience in loss control, safety, industrial hygiene, environmental safety, emergency response, or related fields.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of safety/industrial hygiene/environmental regulations and advise management.
• Analyze data to identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Develop and manage plant safety procedures, policies, and loss control programs.
• Hire, train, evaluate and develop a qualified EHS staff.
• Provide technical guidance on safety, IH, environmental, and fire protection issues.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and incident investigations.
• Serve as liaison with state and local regulatory agencies.
• Report major property losses and injuries to management.
