The role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local agencies, delivering leadership and development for the EHS team and managing staff performance, records, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities include hazard assessments, training, incident investigations, and collaborating with Quality, Sanitation, and Maintenance to meet safety

Qualifications

• 8+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or GED required; a degree in safety-related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site EHS programs in alignment with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
• Provide plant safety reports, metrics, and leadership development for EHS staff.
• Develop and implement site-specific Health and Safety programs with cross-functional partners.
• Conduct hazard assessments, recommend engineering controls and protective equipment.
• Oversee training for OSHA compliance, first aid, and hazard-specific programs.
• Investigate incidents, drive root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
