Job summary

magniX in Everett, WA is seeking an EHS Manager to own and expand our Environmental, Health & Safety program as we scale from R&D to production. This senior individual contributor role will drive policy, training, audits, and compliance across manufacturing sites.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Operations & Industrialization, build a site EHS team as needed, and partner with HR, Engineering, and Operations to achieve ISO 45001/14001 readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher with 5+ years in EHS in aerospace, battery/energy storage, EV, electronics, or industrial manufacturing.
• Direct ownership of core EHS programs (LOTO, HazCom, incident management).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and WA DOSH standards incl. electrical safety, HazCom, PPE, guarding, and powered industrial trucks.
• Familiarity with RCRA, hazmat shipping (DOT 49 CFR) for lithium batteries.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the EHS program across all sites, including strategy, objectives, budget input, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and enforce EHS policies and training; lead investigations and corrective actions.
• Align with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and position magniX for future certification.
• Lead regulatory interactions with WA L&I/DOSH, EPA, and local authorities; oversee regulatory reporting.
