Job summary

magniX USA Inc. seeks an experienced EHS Manager to own and grow the Environmental, Health & Safety program across multiple sites in Everett, WA.

The role is hands-on, ensuring compliance for high‑voltage battery manufacturing and testing environments while building scalable processes. You will establish EHS metrics, lead investigations, and drive improvements, partnering with HR and operations to maintain safety culture and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or higher with 5+ years of EHS experience.
• Direct ownership of core EHS programs, not just support.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards and WA DOSH.

Responsibilities

• Own the EHS program across all sites, including strategy and budget input.
• Develop and enforce EHS programs and policies (Lockout/Tagout, HazCom, etc.).
• Report EHS metrics to leadership with leading and lagging indicators.
• Plan future EHS staffing as sites scale and recruit accordingly.
• Align with ISO 45001/ISO 14001 for future certification readiness.
• Lead regulators interactions and inspection responses.
• Oversee OSHA recordkeeping and workers’ compensation processes.
• Lead hazardous waste, regulatory reporting, and DOT hazmat shipping.
