Job summary

Forgent Power seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead programs across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and embedding best practices. You will influence safety strategy at site leadership level and drive a proactive safety culture.

You will develop policies, conduct audits, lead investigations, and deliver training to employees and management. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and a data-driven approach to risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or similar.
• 5+ years' experience in safety management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies, programs, and procedures across all sites.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations and corporate standards.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and corrective actions.
• Lead investigations of accidents and near-misses; determine root causes and preventive measures.
• Monitor EHS metrics and report to site leadership, driving continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver EHS training for employees and management, including emergencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Manage hazardous materials, waste, and emissions per regulations.
• Champion safety culture by coaching and mentoring across departments.
• Drive EHS initiatives to support growth, scalability, and risk mitigation.
• Stay current on EHS trends and best practices; propose improvements.
