Job summary

Perrigo in Georgia, VT is seeking an Associate Director, Environmental Health & Safety to lead enterprise EHS programs across manufacturing operations. You will ensure FDA, OSHA, EPA compliance and drive a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

The role partners with Operations, Quality, Engineering and Regulatory Affairs to manage risk, lead inspections, and advance continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Mastery of regulated manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing EHS programs and personnel.
• Experience in infant formula, pharmaceutical, food, or nutritional products manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of FDA-regulated manufacturing environments and GMPs; OSHA and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of enterprise and site EHS strategies.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
• Perform risk assessments and drive corrective actions.
• Foster safety culture and leadership across sites.
• Support operations in capital projects with EHS reviews.
• Lead regulatory inspections and agency interactions.
