Job summary

Perrigo seeks an Associate Director, Environmental Health & Safety to lead EHS programs across manufacturing operations. The role ensures compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA while fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in regulated manufacturing (infant formula, pharmaceutical, or food) and will partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs to proactively manage risk and drive sustainable EHS performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in regulated manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing EHS programs and personnel.
• Experience in infant formula, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of FDA-regulated environments and GMP requirements.
• Experience leading regulatory inspections and agency interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise and site-level EHS strategies.
• Lead design, implementation and improvement of EHS management systems.
• Establish metrics and dashboards to drive safety and environmental goals.
• Champion a proactive safety culture through leadership and engagement.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs and Site Leadership.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety

Master's degree in Occupational Safety or related field
