Job summary

Perrigo Company is seeking an engaged Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to elevate safety culture and EHS performance at the Covington, Ohio manufacturing facility. The role reports to the Plant Manager and emphasizes hands-on leadership on the floor, relationship building, and developing people.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing and managing EHS management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and employee engagement across the site.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and HR to drive EHS solutions.
• Lead injury/illness investigations from reporting to closure and verify corrective actions.
• Conduct risk assessments and GEMBA walks with cross-functional teams to identify hazards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and local, state, federal regulations; manage audits and permits.
