Job summary

Millipore Sigma in Jaffrey, NH is seeking a Senior EHS Engineer to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs at our manufacturing site. You will lead risk assessments, audits, and safety initiatives, while mentoring managers, supervisors and staff to strengthen safety culture.

The role requires a 5+ year manufacturing EHS background, a related Bachelor’s degree, and knowledge of EPA/OSHA/DOT standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Process and plant Safety, Ergonomics, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to EHS regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
• Lead risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and mitigation measures.
• Design, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies promoting safety culture.
• Provide EHS reviews and approvals to support programs including MOC and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with employees, leadership, safety committees to promote safety mindset and mentorship.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
• Participate in design of facilities, work areas, equipment, and procedures.
• Perform data analysis to identify leading indicators of incidents.
• Engage in continuing education to stay current in EHS.
• Prepare and submit permit applications, reports, and required documentation.
