Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. is hiring a Senior EHS Engineer in Richardson, TX to oversee risk-based EHS programs at the site. The role collaborates with manufacturing, facilities, quality, and R&D to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will drive program improvements, conduct audits, support corporate EHS objectives and develop a culture of ownership with strong regulator relations. Onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands on EHS experience supporting compliance and program development in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with regulatory safety standards and hazard controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve environmental, health and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and corporate requirements.
• Conduct hazard assessments focusing on risk mitigation and safe work practices across say fall protection, electrical safety, confined spaces, chemical exposure, machine guarding and PPE.
• Provide daily support to site environmental compliance obligations related to air quality, hazardous waste and wastewater.
• Prepare and maintain EHS reports in line with corporate expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Perform routine internal EHS inspections and support external audits.
• Coordinate industrial hygiene evaluations including chemical exposure monitoring and noise assessments.
• Oversee Laser Safety/Radiation Safety programs and support ERT operations.
