Job summary

Honeywell, located onsite in Nebraska City, NE, seeks a Senior HSE Engineer to provide Environmental & Safety leadership and support. You will oversee health, safety and environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and integration into business processes.

You will report to the SME/HTS Sr. HSE Manager and work 100% onsite, contributing to safe operations and sustainability across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering or environmental science required.
• 5+ years of progressive safety, health and environmental experience.
• Deep knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
• HSE management systems experience (ISO 14001/45001) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental programs including wastewater, hazardous waste, air emissions and storm water compliance.
• Administer Honeywell Health, Safety, Environmental Management System.
• Provide technical guidance on health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Integrate HSE practices into daily operations and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead HSE initiatives, risk assessments, training and incident prevention.
