SBM Management Services seeks an EHS Director to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across departments. The role ensures OSHA compliance, develops training, audits, and safety initiatives to create a culture of safety and prevent hazards. Travel is required and a bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of experience is expected.
The position reports to EHS leadership and focuses on continuous improvement of safety processes and programs within SBM’s operations.
EHS Director
$150,000-$160,000 per year
The EHS Regional Director will be responsible for providing comprehensive EHS leadership to all departments and employees. This position is responsible for the compliance and administration of a comprehensive environmental, health and safety program including but not limited to; systems, policies, procedures, safety campaigns and programs to eliminate, prevent or control hazards, or at-risk acts or behaviors. The individual will create a culture of safety as a value.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and/ or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5-8 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver's license.
Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
