Job summary

BSI Consulting Services in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a mid‑ to senior‑level EHS Consultant to oversee safety for multiple projects. You will lead meetings, conduct site walks, and ensure contract requirements are met while educating installers and stakeholders on EHS best practices.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of construction safety experience, a BS in Safety or Engineering, and CSP and OSHA 30‑hour certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of proven construction safety and contractor safety management.
• BS degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field; CSP preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations; OSHA 30‑hour certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety for several projects by initiating meetings and site walks.
• Educate installation contractors and stakeholders on EHS requirements.
• Collect data, create timely reports, and communicate trends from field inspections.
• Observe onsite practices and implement improvements to health and safety.
• Review and approve Job Safety Analysis (JSA) submittals.
• Coach personnel on OSHA requirements and client expectations.
• Prepare training slide decks and deliver to client and EHS professionals.
• Contribute to incident investigations and continuous safety improvement.
